Now that wedding season has officially come to an end, I've had some time to go through some of the pictures I took this last year but didn't have time to do much with them. I'm also playing around with some new filters and effects in Photoshop as I prepare for the next year! Below are a few of my favorites of this series, taken in Phoenix, Arizona.

My Family | Family Photography

Below are some images from my very own family's Christmas photo shoot. This is the first year we've ever done this, and it was rather challenging to try and be both the shooter and a participant in the shoot! I used a timer for the photos of all three of us (REALLY challenging!!), and my husband has started to get a little bit of an itch for photography and captured the images of my daughter and I. I'm happy with the results and it's kind of fun to have some pictures of Akaela and I! Now just to pick one to use for our Christmas card...

Mike + Kara | Engagement Photos

I met Kara this past summer when my little brother and sister-in-law got hitched! I was delighted when she e-mailed me about her upcoming wedding. These two will be married in March, and after being with them for just a few minutes it's easy to see why. They compliment each other very well and obviously have lots of fun and share a lot of laughs together! Plus - what troopers they are - getting together for pictures on what has to have been the coldest day we've had this season so far.

Jameson | One Year Photos

Today I had the absolute privilege of photographing this handsome little man with his mom and dad. He is just full of energy and has the biggest, most expressive eyes! He just turned one on Saturday and he is so ready to be on the go. It was fun to watch him crawl and play for a bit and wait for his whole face to light up with one of his awesome smiles. Charlotte | Nine Month Photos

I can't believe that Charlotte is already nine months old!! She is growing so fast and is already starting to look more like a little girl and less like a baby! But she's just as beautiful as ever.

Below is a preview from our session today! As always, Jessie had the cutest outfits picked our for her and I was so impressed that Charlotte made it through an entire hour without getting sick of me!
