A Once-in-a-Lifetime Experience

On Sunday the 34th MPs returned to St. Paul. I was out at the Stillwater Armory to welcome home a soldier that had been gone for around nine months. In the time he was serving our country overseas, his first child was born. I've never seen anything anything as amazing, emotional, heartbreaking and touching.

Below are some images of the first time that this beautiful little girl met her daddy.

Chad and Brooke, thank you so much for the sacrifices you've made for our freedom.

  1. Talk about heart tugging! Beautiful Angeli!

  2. You did them proud Ang, these images are incredibly heart wrenching.

  3. Angeli, these pictures brought tears to my eyes!!
What a wonderful day for these dear people!

  4. Beautiful! God keep everyone safe!

  5. Angela,

My name is Tanya and I can be contacted at I am looking for this soldier for a friend of mine. He saw this picture floating around on facebook and it touched him so much he had to draw it. He has the finsihed print and would like to get it to this soldier. Can you please help me out by putting us in contact, even if it is through a third party... Thanks so much.....
